Sherak Ltd. recently completed a comprehensive shingle replacement project on Brant St E, Orillia, ON, on March 27-28, 2025. This project involved removing the old, worn-out shingles and installing brand-new, durable shingles to enhance the roof’s protection and lifespan. ✅ Shingle Replacement:We removed the existing shingles, which had reached the end of their lifespan, and installed high-quality, weather-resistant shingles. The new shingles not only improved the aesthetic appeal of the property but also provided enhanced protection against harsh weather conditions. ✅ Wood Decking Replacement:During the project, we identified that the wood decking underneath the shingles was deteriorating. To ensure long-term stability, we replaced all the wood, creating a solid foundation for the new shingles. Properly installed and secure wood decking prevents potential structural issues and improves overall roof performance. ✅ Ventilation System Upgrade:Efficient ventilation is essential for preventing moisture buildup and regulating temperature in the attic. We installed new, upgraded ventilation systems to promote better airflow and extend the lifespan of the roof. This step helps reduce the risk of mold, ice dams, and excessive heat buildup in the summer months.
