Roof and Siding Installer and Helper

We are hiring on two levels. Experienced installers who can run roofing and siding work start to finish, and motivated helpers who want to learn the trade hands on. Helper is an entry level role where you assist our installers on real projects and build your skills under people who know the work.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace roofing and siding systems.
- Inspect problem areas and decide the best approach for a repair or replacement.
- Make sure every job meets our standards and the customer's specifications.
- Use hand and power tools safely to get the work done.
- Work at heights while following all safety regulations.
- Work with the rest of the crew to finish projects on time and on budget.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and clients when needed.
- Helpers: prepare materials, tools, and equipment, remove old materials, keep job sites clean, and learn under experienced installers.
Requirements
- Installers: proven experience as an installer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of roofing and siding materials and techniques.
- Comfortable working at heights and in different weather conditions.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Physical stamina for labour intensive work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Helpers: no prior experience required, but a real willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.
What We Offer
- Installer pay based on experience, starting from $25 per hour.
- Helper pay based on ability, starting from $20 per hour.
